Pruner keeps your data on your device. Here’s exactly what that means.
Pruner is local-first. Everything you enter lives on your device. There is no Pruner account, no sign-up, and no server that receives your subscriptions, logins, amounts, or notes.
Pruner contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We don’t know who you are or how you use the app.
Sensitive fields such as account passwords are encrypted on your device with AES‑256, using a key held in the platform keychain (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Passwords are never included in backups or iCloud sync — they never leave your device.
If you turn on iCloud sync, Pruner stores a copy of your subscription data in your own private iCloud so it stays in sync across your devices. This uses Apple’s iCloud, protected by your Apple account — Pruner still has no server and no access to it. You can turn iCloud sync off any time in Settings.
Two optional requests may leave your device: service logos are fetched by domain through an image proxy, and currency rates are fetched from a public exchange-rate API. Neither request includes your personal data.
Pruner Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple. Payments and billing are handled entirely by Apple; Pruner never sees your payment details.
You can export a backup or import one at any time from Settings, and erase everything with one tap. Deleting the app removes all local data — we have no copy to delete on our side.
